Hebrew Names of God
We will pursue knowing God through a study of His names. God revealed Himself to His people in a Divine order. Through each new name, He revealed an additional part of Himself. Holy Spirit, come and give us eyes to see our merciful, gracious and just God through His names.
Exodus 33:13,18-19 - Moses said, “…Show me Your way, that I may KNOW YOU…Please show me Your glory. Then he said, I will make all My goodness pass before You and will proclaim the NAME of the Lord before you…”
Psalm 8:1 - “O LORD, our LORD, How excellent is YOUR NAME in all the earth. You who set Your glory above the heavens.”
Psalm 9:10 - “Those who KNOW YOUR NAME will put their trust in You, for You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.”
Psalm 124:8 - “Our help is in THE NAME OF THE LORD, Who made heaven and earth.”
Proverbs 18:10 - “THE NAME OF THE LORD is a strong tower. The righteous runs into it and is safe.”
John 17:6 - (Jesus speaking, said) “I have manifested YOUR NAME to the men whom You have given Me out of the world.”
